Albany Capital plc is an activist and pre-IPO investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM). Acting both as principal and as a co-investor alongside other institutions we take positions in both private and listed companies using private equity techniques in order to achieve a medium term return.
We invest in a diverse range of companies each offering the prospect of significant capital appreciation. We are able to commit funds both to fast growth businesses seeking a listing within the next eighteen months and existing quoted business which may be in a position of distress or reorganisation.
We are committed to working closely with management teams and existing institutional shareholders in tailoring investment solutions for the long term benefit of the business. Our company structure also allows us to act very rapidly compared to many institutional backed funds.
